All of the above are usually used under ball gowns to make the gown come alive by making them almost stand at attention. This particular petticoat has a drawstring closure that allows for it to fit almost any size waist. It is a is a very full petticoat with two layers of net ruffle and one ruffle on the  overskirt. The length is approximately 36". The color is white.
 
It will fit a waist from 13", the very smallest it will go, to 45"  and still be easily tied. If you have a wide skirted gown this petticoat will make the skirt wider and shorter. All crinolines and petticoats will, but drawstring ones more so.
 
This petticoat is used. It is clean and unstained.
