Vintage two tiered tulle trimmed with 3" white cotton lace veil that
could be worn on the head, having the veil drop to the floor and using the second shorter tier as a blusher veil. It
appears to have been attached to a headpiece at one time but is not now. It could be attached to a headpiece or attached
to an ornate comb. As a veil it is shorter than a cathedral veil by 30". As a train it is longer than a cathedral
train by 12" but shorter than a Royal train by 24".
It measures approximately 8' (96") long and 5'4" wide. The shorter piece is 27"
x 40" wide.
A cathedral veil is usually 126". A
cathedral train is usually 84" and extends 7 feet from the back waist. A Royal train is usually 120" extending 10 feet from
the back waist.
The pictures show the veils attached at the back of the head. The tiers could
be separated easily to attach the longer one to the waist of a gown to use as a cathedral train. The shorter one could be
used as a matching veil. Use your imagination. It is shown on a wedding dress that is not included in the price.
Veil only. Gown is not included in sale.
The veil is clean and unstained.
